The Big Day!
Today is the date when you take legal possession of your new home. All of your efforts are rewarded when you get the keys to your new home. Even though, you might feel great relief the home buying process is not finished yet. Here are the lists of other things that are happening on the closing day:

Your mortgage lender will provide your lawyer with mortgage money.
You must provide the balance of the purchase price to your lawyer.
You are also responsible for paying the closing cost, Land Transfer Tax and any other Adjustments.
Your lawyer pays the vendor’s lawyer and will register the home under your
name and provide you with the keys.
